Your SMP treatment plan: sessions, pricing and aftercare

Before starting scalp micropigmentation, it helps to understand the whole appointment plan. The useful questions are practical: what area will be treated, what does each session cost, how many appointments are proposed, and what happens between visits? At SMP BY G, these are discussed during your free consultation.
Agree on the appearance and treatment area
Start by explaining whether you want a defined shaved hairline, the appearance of greater density or camouflage for a scalp scar. Our SMP artist will discuss your goals and suitability, then explain the proposed treatment area and session plan. SMP changes the appearance of hair loss; it does not grow new hair.
Bring reference photographs and describe the hairstyle you intend to wear. Ask which parts of the proposed design can be agreed before the first appointment and how progress will be discussed at later visits.
Our listed prices cover one session
The prices below are in Australian dollars and apply to one treatment session, rather than a complete multi-session package. Your total treatment cost depends on the agreed number of sessions.
Mild hair loss: from $400 per session.
Medium hair loss: from $600 per session.
Advanced hair loss / full head SMP: from $800 per session.
Adding density: from $750 per session.
Scar camouflage: from $450 per session.
Initial consultation: free.
Before booking, confirm the treatment category, proposed number of sessions and total expected cost. Ask whether any later maintenance or touch-up would be quoted separately. For illustration, two sessions starting at $400 each would start at $800 in total; your actual quote may be higher. This is an illustration, not a recommendation or a quote for your own plan.
Allow time for the agreed appointment plan
Appointment length and the number of sessions depend on the area involved and your individual plan. We do not publish one fixed timetable for every client. Discuss your availability, any important upcoming dates and the arrangements for reviewing the appearance between visits.
Written aftercare and questions between visits
You receive written aftercare instructions after treatment. Read them before leaving and ask for clarification if any step is unclear. Confirm the guidance for washing, exercise, sun exposure and the products you normally use, rather than combining instructions from different websites.
Keep the studio’s contact details with your instructions so you know how to ask a follow-up question. Ask about longer-term maintenance and how future touch-ups are assessed and priced.
